You’re welcome, @mishko – and @matharuajay, I’m sorry I missed your reply! Thanks for the kind kudos (and great plugin).

In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] Fatal ErrorAdding this to functions.php – add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ ); – stopped the undefined function error. But I can’t get “Publish to author’s Timeline” to stay checked, and the posts don’t show up in the timeline.
I’m having the same problem. I can’t trace it to a particular action or set of circumstances; it’s happened with a page as well as with a custom content type post.

In reply to: Need API key for YouTubeI suspect the problem is at YouTube’s end. I can’t think of any reason they should be asking for an API key; all they ought to need is all you need for any remote blog posting interface: username, password and XMLRPC URL.
I’ve dropped them a note; we’ll see if I get a reply, and I’ll share it if I do.

In reply to: Inserting an URL in 2.1 Ella does not work (WYSIWYG)I’m having the same problem in Firefox 2.0.0.1 on Mac OS X 10.4.8. The error console (menu: Tools / Error Console, Sajonara) reports multiple identical errors:
Error: this.frame.tinyMCEPopup.restoreSelection is not a function

In reply to: del.icio.us daily blog posting feature support?Nice. BTW, that out_url value should probably have an https:// before it.

In reply to: del.icio.us plugin?Hi, Craig — My guess is he just used a plugin along the lines of Bill Rawlinson’s rssLinkList / feedList to publish the RSS feed from his del.icio.us account. The “more” link is just a link to his del.icio.us page, and the “feed” link is a direct link to the del.icio.us RSS feed.

In reply to: SpamUser registrationI’ve just had this happen over the past week. I’ve unchecked the option to allow anyone to register, and new users were limited to Subscriber permissions anyway. I haven’t seen any examples of blogs being hijacked, and I don’t know if they’re just trying to post unmoderated comments, hoping to post articles, or biding their time until they discover a (hopefully non-existent!) WordPress exploit.

In reply to: WYSIWYG is so slowI’m finding the responsiveness varies, and it seems to be a function of how peppy my site is overall. I’m guessing the big delay is the preview beneath the WYSIWYG window; WP2.0 renders the post in place before loading the editor, and if some of what it has to pull in (Google Analytics, flickr, etc.) isn’t feeling especially speedy, that can take a long time.

In reply to: missing dashboard textI’m having the same thing happen on my blog (on a non-PowWeb-hosted site). My guess is it’s a glitch in the feed, similar to what happened a month or so ago, and that Podz’n’co are busily knitting it back together.
