In reply to: [Gutenberg] A work in progressTammie and the Core Team,
Thanks for your thoughtful response and for letting me know about the usability testing. As I’ve read more about the project, I’m encouraged by your team’s effort to improve the structure of WordPress, as well as benefit everyone in the WordPress ecosystem, while listening to your users. Perhaps what the users are looking at now is akin to looking at the frame of a car – it’s not close to being finished and wouldn’t be fair to review as a car at this point, but the correct structure is being put in place. I’ll update my review to reflect that.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] background images are missingUpdate: I just went into the main CSS and did a find and replace in my text editor manaully, and that fixed those background images.
The only remaining broken images were in an Elementor “Slider” that makes use of background images. From the WP dashboard, I selected the page that had the slider, and then “Edit with Elementor” button. When I was taken to the Elementor editor’s view of the page, the background images showed up correctly in the slider (the same images did not appear on the published site). I clicked “Save” to publish the page, and navigated to the front side of the website and the now images appeared correctly! I thought these details might help in troubleshooting.

SniffleValve,
That ended up working out very well. Thank you very much! It may help others to know that when you are editing your post, you need to have the “Visual” tab selected to be able to see the Pastacode icon that allows you to insert your code in your post. Then as SniffleValve mentioned, you must switch back to the “Text” tab to find your shortcode, which you can place in the Elementor shortcode widget.
SniffleValve,
Thanks so much for this tip. I will give Pastacode a try. All the best!
Hello. I’m having the same problem. Uninstalled all plugins except Elementor and Elementor Pro, cleared browser cache – problem persists. WP, Theme (Twenty-sixteen), and Elementor are all most recent versions. Here’s a video capture of the problem of being redirected to the official website and being prevented from inserting a template:
