On the Dashboard across the top (where it usually indicates an available update to WordPress itself) was a message about a patch for Multisite, with an option to apply it. It definitely said “patch” and not “update”.

I wasn’t using the beta tester plugin.

Fixed! I did it by following the instructions on this thread

I dumped plugin tables too, and no luck.

I’ve reinstalled manually 2x now – errors remain. upgrade.php was very quick. Is it supposed to be?

Tried in FF 2.0.01 and IE7 – same problem. In IE7 a Stack error is generated.

Turning off the visual editor allows me to post. I still have the categories and links problem outlined here

It doesn’t solve the problem. I thought it might have caused the problem.

I reinstalled manually as well, following the instructions scrupulously, and the same thing happens.

My error console is showing this:

Did you use WP-Manage to upgrade to 2.1?

I’m getting the same thing. I ran upgrade.php and the problem is still there.
