Tried it but it doesn’t work. From what people are saying it doesn’t work for the newer versions of WordPress.

Just tried Shorten2pin. Worked beautifully. Easy to install and works instantly.

Ok well I did some research and as it turns out the newest version of wordpress doesn’t work with this plugin. People have been getting around this by dropping back to the previous version of wordpress or they just delete this plugin and hop on over to Shorten2ping.

A real shame, this plugin seemed promising. The author needs to update it asap.

The problem is now fixed. I actually found a different way of doing it without touching any core files. Thanks anyway!

Thanks for the tip. I think I may just end up copying and pasting all the pages into wordpress. I have another person who can help me with this so we should be able to get this all done within a month.

I truly believe if I want to grow my website then I’ll have to move it over to wordpress. There’s an actual community, tons of plugins and unlimited support. Updating the site would also be much easier and quicker. The Pros definitely outweigh the cons.

I deleted the plugin manually from my cpanel and the problem is now solved. Thanks guys.

It’ll save me lots of time and headaches if I can get someone’s opinion who’s tried both already.
