yikes! as another workaround… while in edit mode you can see the locations… view the page source and copy the code into your wordpress page to use until things are fixed

just create draft events for your locations

I actually created “draft” events for every location… if I delete the events and then empty the trash, then I lose the location in the list again. So until there’s a fix I have to create at least a draft event for all my locations so that they show in the locations list.
Are the NetWeblogic folks able to replicate this issue? if yes, I hope that there’s a fix in the next release.

I still find it strange that in WordPress edit mode, all the locations always show, regardless if the locations have events or not.

I discovered that I can fix my issue by simply adding an event for all my locations and then deleting the event. Now all my locations are showing up in my locations list!
Weird! but at least it works.

I was actually referring to the 5.5.3 install files so I can ftp them up to my server. Don’t I need the files from the previous version?

Yes, I can confirm… All locations with no events, past or present show up in the location list or map.
If I downgrade to the previous version will I lose anything? What’s the procedure to downgrade?

just remove or rename that file and everything seems to work fine. All that function does is let you know when WP needs an update. WordPress already does this for you and the theme doesn’t need this function from what I can tell…
