That means this link does not lead you to the new URL, but to https://example.com/blog/login.php. My guess is this link is created by a plugin or a theme who does not create the URL the proper way. If this is the case, my plugin can do nothing about it.

But when I mouse over the “Log In” link on my home page (yes, I know I should remove the link), I see the new (SF-moved) URL https://www.example.com/blog/login

Not sure for this one. By reading the .htaccess file I understand your home page is located at https://example.com, not at https://example.com/blog/. Am I right?

Sorry if I was unclear, my WordPress blog (do you mean the same thing by home page?) is at https://example.com/blog/, not https://example.com.

It’s possible that you have an adblocking/privacy addon in Firefox that blocks social/ad networks from tracking you. If that’s the case, try disabling it.
