I contacted WPML support and it seems there’s a bug on WPML SEO when the Home page is set to latest posts. They opened a ticket to fix it.

For now you can deactivate the WPML SEO addon or just create a page for the Home (that’s what I did).

It doesn’t show up.

But I found out that when I deactivate the plugin/addon “WPML SEO” the og:title and og:description show up.

Any thought on why is this happening?

I’m using the latest posts, but even when I change the details on “Search Appearance > General tab > Homepage” the og:title and og:description meta tags don’t show up in the home page source code.

Yes, I’m a heavy user of custom fields with ACF PRO. I build websites with WordPress based on layouts exclusively designed for the projects. I don’t use any “base theme”. As I like to say, I “motorize” the layouts with WordPress. So for my point of view “the_content” was just one field, sometimes the most important field (like the main content of a page or post), but sometimes unnecessary.?

As you can see I organize the custom fields per my clients needs.?I don’t wanna let them freely add blocks on the page. I have a very specific field for each information the user must enter.

I know I can still use the classic editor plugin, but what’s going to happen in 2021 when its support end? Many developers build complex websites for clients and they must have control of the page structure. If you see WP as a CMS it makes much more sense to see the content as just one simple field.

Gutenberg can be a good feature, but it shouldn’t be mandatory. It shouldn’t take control of the whole page. Although I don’t use page builders (cause I am the page builder) I know there’re many plugins on the market that do a great job. They have their audience, specially with people that don’t code, but I don’t see why the framework should use this approach. It’s a complete change of paradigm, but I think not in a good direction.?

I have a similar problem. When running on php 7.2.10 I got the error message when scanning for anything on table wp_options. It’s weird but for me it just happen on this table.

Switching to php 7.1.22 it worked fine.

I’ve just updated to version 1.0 and it seems the “menu_position” is not working. I’ve set it to 5 but it still shows below the Comment item. Could you please check it when you have a time?

it seems the problem is on the languages files. By now you can just upload the old files from the folder “wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages” and it will be fixed.
