Figured it out! All I had to do was go to Screen Options at the top of the screen on the Edit Product page (in admin dashboard) and select the Custom Fields checkbox. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Does this still apply if I used a trial version? I haven’t paid for a woocommerce support subscription yet.

Nevermind, I solved this by changing the text from “Item, Name” to “Item (Name)” and imported as Tags comma separated. Thanks for helping with the original question. Greatly appreciated.

ok thank you so much for the information. This value isn’t really a “variation” but more like a “trait”. Maybe I should map this to a Tag? The only reason why I stayed away from Tags is because my traits have spaces AND commas in them, for example “Music, Jazz”.

I can’t win! Any advice on how I should handle this data point? It’s pretty important and will be used to search/filter products on the store page.
