Will the backup plugin work as well as exporting from phpmyadmin? I’m moving hosts..requested a back up 10 days ago…just called my host and apparently I never spoke to a supervisor or even made a request for my db’s and seriously am tired of the lying and running around chasing these ppl..I’ve tried exporting it myself but results in zero bytes…i’m really frustrated and in need of dire help.

My nightmare host is 1and1.com if you could point me to an actual tutorial for 1and1.com db export i’ll take that too..all i find is stuff on how to import to them.

Thanks but I need something a bit more specific than this…more like a system for avis or hurtz..or even any hotel chain system for booking online.

thanks dude..you can ftp it to the root folder of the specific site then provide that url to google webmasters.

Is there nothing that will stay active on page even during navigation of the site? Like an iframe of sorts or ajax. I’ve seen this one other sites but can’t figure out how they’ve implemented it.

Thanks guys, I was curious as to what was seen in general and thought that since I was providing thumbnail sized previews the content description would automatically be viable on the home page but seems it’s not so i’ll make the necessary adjustments.

Thanks Rakxzo, unfortunately it’s the trade off I had to take to have a visually interesting theme that would attract users. What’s shocking tho is that I actually have content for each of the video. IMDB synopsis etc. Perhaps its the theme but I can’t be sure of it at this point. I’ll look more into alchemy and into cutting down the loading time.

Well then miqrogroove, perhaps instead of sounding so self righteous you’d like to share some tips..and there is content most posts actually have content description.

Im providing links from index’s that fall under the content I publish, the yahoo answers community and sidereel for example. I’m in the movie steam business so I have all the content a person searching for that would ever want..I just don’t have the online relevancy my competitors have even though I have backlinks from just about the same sources they do. I get like 6% traffic from google searches..bing gives me absolutely no traffic nor does yahoo although I am indexed on both.

Oh i’m using the DB back up plugin so I have weekly updates of my db’s..it would just be nice if wordpress gave us the options of combining databases.
