In reply to: Website for adsPretty neat…using a cache plugin might be a good idea. I have used W3 total cache on my [link moderated] models agency site and I have a page speed of 96%. Your site currently stands at 63%.

In reply to: What do you thinkYup..I would second the above opinion, i did not find it spammy though but slightly cluttered and also that you have placed your main offers at the bottom.

In reply to: [SEO Friendly Images] [Plugin: SEO Friendly Images] does nothingHere is what I have learnt.
1. It may not work with premium themes because every premium theme may have different parameters and classes assigned to post images.
2. It certainly does not work with other post types unless you modify the codes accordingly. And that is something you do at your own risk unless you are a professional coder and know what you are doing.I suggest that you check it with changing your theme to one of the default themes provided by wordpress. Or hire a wordpress expert if you want to keep the theme and still want to apply the plugin.
Goodluck.Nope, it won’t..I have done tons of research for a while on this plugin while using it on my business site since last six months and Instead I can say that If you use it within reasonable parameters it can do wonders to your seo.
For example look at one of my posts which passed the latest Google PR Update with flying colors.
So from my experience I can only say what has been the best strategy for me :
1. I keep my search terms within 10.
2. I use it to enlist the search terms within my post only and I do not use any it’s other features. None.
3. I have been using it in conjunction with smartlinks plugin.
Good luck.@styledev..deeply appreciate your help. But, It somehow did not work for me due to post-type issues, I guess. My post types are image.
This is a link to one of my posts
If you see in the source code the featured image is still missing an alt tag, while I have the plugin activated in the back-end, with original code replaced with yours. May I also bring to your attention that my theme shows a re-sized image as the featured image in the post.
I know the chances are remote but any kind of help will be appreciated.
thank you, kindly.@sulistyo..and would you please explain why is that ?
And I thought I am the only one having the problem, the developer seems helpless although it is not his fault. The problem is I run a website which is too much image dependent and for a while I thought the HTTP error is harmless but now I have come to the conclusion would be to get rid of this plugin I guess till the time a good alternative comes up. Thanks for helping me decide, it had begun to affect my workflow.
Fix did not work, could you please spare a few moments for us, as the developer seems to have abandoned the project. Its a good contribution but what good is it if it does not work.
Some expert gotta take up this issue now, coz there are far too many people whom this is not working for.P.S – I use wp – 3.3.2.. thnks.

In reply to: [SEO Friendly Images] [Plugin: SEO Friendly Images] does nothingYup it does absolutely nothing..I tried with a fresh install, NIL ..Absolutely nothing. Developer is too busy selling his premium version, he has withdrawn support for this one I guess. Pity

In reply to: SEO Friendly ImagesI see that it is a single post that you are referring to so if there are more images other than a single image in a single post then I think the plugin is configured to repeat the title tag. However, I do not see any harm seo-wise due to all images being in a single post. However, In the SFI settings, try inserting different inputs in the “Title attribute box” eg. %name %category, %tag %name, etc. and see if it works.
If you are using repeating same image titles for different posts then probably you can worry about seo.

In reply to: need a pagination solution or advice..@egado, thanks you for going the extra mile, the code you provided however broke the site so I took the wp-pagenavi plugin and tweaked with the query-posts a bit and my job was done. I am closing this thread now.
Again.. thank you !!Forum: Plugins
