In reply to: [Yoast SEO] How to “restore to factory settings”Hi Michael.
The permalink structure is “normal” – Meaning it’s the Post-name structure (https://vestadministrationen.dk/sample-post/) chosen.I’ve manually added the url with the trailing slash to the canonical field in Yoast SEO, since our SEMrush crawler warned us about missing canonical – Here’s a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/KNtSo5q
I have not setup any 301’s, only utilised the canonical field in the yoast app, so I presume it’s Yoast that’s making this issue occur. Please advice on how to fix this,
S?ren

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] How to “restore to factory settings”Hello again.
Here’s the screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/ZMzn6aX
They should be self explanatory (see the comments added to each screenshot). Here’s the sitemaps index: https://vestadministrationen.dk/sitemap_index.xml
Here’s the employee sitemap (showcasing the issue at hand): https://vestadministrationen.dk/employee-sitemap.xml

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] How to “restore to factory settings”Hi Jeroen.
The sitemap is currently disabled due to the fact it doesn’t work as expected…
But I’ll happily provide screenshots of the issue.Where do I send them?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] How to “restore to factory settings”Hello Jeroen.
Yes, very odd indeed – which is why I opened this ticket in the first place :o)We’ve been through roughly 100 posts and no-indexed a lot of them.
The issue at hand occurs after we’ve done the above mentioned tasks and it is very strange the untouched posts (set to index and follow) are now missing from the sitemap…That is the issue at hand.
And since there’s apparently no explanation to this odd behaviour I’d like to start from scratch, hence the title of the support ticket. Can you kindly advise on best practice to start all over, wiping the entire site and database from anything Yoast related?
Thank you.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] How to “restore to factory settings”Hi Jeroen.
Thank you for getting back to me.Unfortunately none of the steps work.
Settings does not update/reset by uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.
And resetting through the helper plugin does not help either. We need a factory reset – A complete wipe of every entry in the database, but unfortunately uninstalling does not clear/reset the database (why???).
Please advise.
