Thank you, I will try some of these out and update if I find anything further.

    Hi @bcworkz,
Thank you for the information & insight.

I had that same question myself and was trying to figure out how they were determining what a top story was, and ended up thinking into your same line of reasoning. I actually realized the last stories were from 2019, not 2020, so it’s been quite some time and also believe that someone was manually updating these and then maybe was let go and nobody realized that the stories weren’t being updated anymore.

I was looking to see if there was some category or tag indicating that they were top stories, or some custom field, but didn’t see anything that stood out. I’ve reached out to the previous team to if it’s possible manual selection was being done somewhere.

I guess my main question really is indifferent to whether it is working properly or not, and mainly ‘how I could find out where an option is being set at’. Even if this was working completely fine, I would not know where this data is being set/coming from.

I can plainly see that there are post id’s in this ‘last_weeks_top_stories’ option field, but am at a loss finding where it’s coming from. If I manually edit the post ID’s in the options it is overwritten with those same old ID’s from 2019 after I hit save on the wp-admin/options.php page. I’m not sure where to look next.

Would also like to add that it is happening on two different sites, and that the actual calendar datepicker doesn’t even popup to select dates. And I am getting messages:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘opera’ of undefined

I figured out that I had the test discount set to only be available to a different subscription(which was on a different form). I figured the discount field would still exist even if there was no discount code active.

If anyone else if having this issue of the discount field not showing, just check to make sure you have the discount set to ‘active’ in the settings for it and that you have the correct subscription selected or the field will not show at all for your forms ??

Have a happy new year everyone!

It started working some time after I posted (maybe paypal was having problems), but will be installing the pro paypal plugin regardless so we don’t need to redirect off site. And yes the security plugin did not like the test account from romania(sorry about that), thanks for trying though!

Same, slider doesn’t work using elementor, broken with both the configurator and hello theme. The slider is completely broken with the thumbnails showing up as weird list items and aren’t clickable.

This was just what I was looking for, thanks! ??

Wow, you work so fast! Thank you so much, everything works as normal on both sites now, and I get the save message again.

I don’t see a screenshot in your message, but no, I get no message of “Your settings have been saved” I get no message at all. Upon clicking save changes the page reloads, with the default settings selected again.

    PHP Version: 7.3.11
    WordPress: 5.3.2

There are a couple of php notices in the debug log related to a different plugin [11-Feb-2020 15:32:23 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: tag in public_html/wp-content/plugins/oxygen/component-framework/includes/cache.php on line 697

I also decided to try a fresh install on another website, and the same issue occurs. This second site has no errors in the debug log.

The php version for this second site is 7.2.24 & WordPress version is also 5.3.2

I tried in both up to date versions of firefox and chrome, and also disabled ad-blocker in case that was an issue.

One thing I noticed between the two installs, is that even though i deleted and reinstalled on the first site, it has absolutely no checkboxes filled out on the ‘general settings’ tab (it seems like it remembered my de-selections from before the update), whereas a fresh install on the second site, where it’s never been installed, has 3 checkboxes filled out.
