In reply to: [Download Monitor] Hiding the download count on the buttonAwesome, thank you Michaela, that worked well.
Is there anyway to make the process more streamlined, and not have to use a shortcode everytime while having to locate the download ID? I’m used to using the Gutenberg blocks.
Thanks for the response Melissa.
I see.
So if the links are stored in their own table, if I ever remove the plugin, I’ll lose all the links it has generated. Is this correct?
Cheers
Thanks Christine. Could you link me to the specific thread for this issue?
Thanks Adnan for the response, I’m happy to hear it’s already under development.
I’m fine to wait, just knowing it’s coming is good for me, adds a ‘fresh’ feel to the login page ??
Thank you for consideration. Is there any public roadmap you guys have I can see if and when you’ll include the Yoast compatibility? I have an upcoming project that really needs this implementation.

In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Conditional loading of js/css assets?Yep it’s just those two assets so far that I’ve noticed. I’m happy to hear it’s something that can be fixed in the future updates cause I’m really enjoying the plugin. ??

In reply to: [Secure Custom Fields] Creating multiple curated related posts lists?Bump
Thanks. The file backups size seems fine, it’s the database one that is the issue.
Hey Stanimir,
As mentioned in my previous comment, when I updated to the latest version of 5.3.2 (I had a typo in the last comment), the issue was still happening, my dynamic and mem cache were disabled and I stll have issues with the SSL not being detected and PHP Manual selection not working.
I also noticed that although I’m using the latest version, in my backend Plugins page, the SG Optimizer is listed as “Version 5.4.2” under the description of the plugin, even though in the actual Settings page of SG Optimizer, at the very bottom it says “Version 5.2.3”
Please let me know how to proceed.
Thank you.
Thanks Stanimir.
I’ve updated to Version 5.2.3 but I seem to still have the issues. Is this the version your patch was in?
Regards,
Matt
Thanks Peter for your response.
I checked to make sure the right settings were selected to delete both options and tables prior to trying to delete the plugin. The main issue didn’t seem to be there, but in the actual deleting of the plugin which would not delete, if it had successfully deleted I would assume it would have also followed the settings selected and removed the options and tables from the DB.
I’m still not sure what slowed down the system, I used a system restore point from a day before at the cost of losing the last few hours of data, which fixed the issue of the ram/cpu overload. I did experience another outage for an 3 hours last night apparently according to a third party up time monitor.
Perhaps it had to do with the size of my DB. It’s not big (400MBs) but it does have a lot of rows (2.4 Million). I’m working on decluttering it a bit to see if that helps.
Hey Stanimir,
Thanks for your response.
I run Sucuri Firewall which could be it.
This is the url: https://tiny.cc/r1pcdz
Would this explain all the issues?
Thanks Graham for following up on this.
I don’t think I can pin point any updates relating to this as I seem to have had the widgets appear and disappear at random intervals (The code worked when I launched the new theme but then appeared all of a sudden a few weeks ago). Thought I must admit I don’t visit the shop pages very much, so I wouldn’t be able to pinpoint when it started appearing again.
I hadn’t thought of that, I tried running the widget area removal script by itself:
remove_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' );
But it doesn’t work, neither did the removing the full footer area ‘genesis_do_footer’. I’ve tried on both my live site and my staging site (try bypass any cache plugins) and they both get the same issue.
I do run a child theme, Essence Pro.
Is there any reason that the remove_action on its own wouldn’t work within a function.php file?
Thank you

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Database update stuckI got a response from premium support via Woocommerce.com.
It seems like it’s been reported as a bug: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/23414
I was suggested to follow @pvan3 suggestion (though apparently I have 333 tasks queued so it’ll take some time) or “I would also encourage you to follow my colleagues suggestions of disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and doing the update again using the url:
https://YOURURL.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&do_update_woocommerce=1”I hope this helps someone, I’m going to try it now.
Brilliant, that did the trick! Thank you so much.
