I am using it for a custom post type, in this case LearnDash Essays Comments.
I tried to change the trigger to New Comment / Awaiting Moderation’ notification but then when a comment is made to an LearnDash Essay, it is not being sent.

In the custom post type trigger, there is no ‘Do not send this Notification to the User that triggered it’ option.

Can this be added is some custom code to the plugin?

I have resolved the issue, it was a filename problem on a image. Since it had a international character which was causing a loading problem. Change the filename from the image, and now is working fine.

Found the plugin that hides the ‘Do not send this Notification to the User that triggered it’ checkbox: LearnDash LMS.

When deactivating it, both tick boxes are visible. The workaround I think is to tick the ‘Do not send this Notification to the User that triggered it’ first and then ‘Send this notification to the Author only’, leaving the first checked.

I understand now why is that you have to leave Enable threaded (nested) comments levels deep to 2.

When using more levels, is when it re-creates the New Comment notification to the author again. Leaving the 2 deep levels, blocks this from happening, right?
Leaving one user comment and one author comment reply.

Still regarding the Handy Feature, it states Ticking the two checkboxes (Send this notification to the Author only and Do not send this Notification to the User that triggered it), but if i tick on the Send this notification to author, it hides the other one.
Using the Comment Reply notification, these checkboxes are not available tough, as assumed in the documentation.

Thank you for your prompt response. I understand now, the additional email fields hidden is a normal behaviour for transactional notifications, due to the restriction by WP. I was mistaken there, thinking it was something wrong with my WP configuration. Now I understand the scenario presented with BadgeOS is not normal.

Just testing all the features and seeing that all notifications for Transactional group, leaves me with the message: This notification doesn’t support additional email fields due to a limitation in WordPress

Tested on fresh WP installation with nothing more that the BNFW plugin and followed the FAQ step by step for installation.

Quick update again: Installed BadgeOS plugin in the new site where the limitation is always, but did not work to resolve the problem. It only works on the WP installation mentioned above even when just the BadgeOs and BNFW plugin are activated in the entire site. Really do not know what is different.

Just a quick update that I just found. In the WP installation where it is working for Reply notifications, I have BadgeOS plugin installed. When I deactivated this plugin is where it gives me the notification again (This notification doesn’t support additional email fields due to a limitation in WordPress).

Activating this plugin lets me work with notification replies.

What is the link or root cause here?

Hi. Just deactivated the cforms plugin and now the WYSIWYG editor appeared. This is the one causing the problem. Thank you very mucho for the prompt follow up!
