I found out that the readme.md file inside the theme explains THIS about the featured images (yes notice that the readme file wasn’t saved as a simple text file so the average unlearned user will become frustrated trying to open it – I used Notepad++):

* Featured images are ONLY DISPLAYED IF they are at a MINIMUM 1100px in width and 500px in height. This is to maintain an aesthetic consistency throughout the theme.
* Inputting a social profile link in the Primary menu will automatically display an icon for the particular social network on the front end.

So there you have it: Any images you use for featured images HAVE to be a MINIMUM size. So, if you were having trouble with those two features not working, then there are your solutions ??

You use the word “background” to add a new slide and that’s not the correct term to use. A background image is different from the main slider image. That’s why users are having trouble figuring out how to add a slider image.

I already figured out how to add the slider images.

Ok. I was able to edit the php file myself. I removed the Bond Amount array and added monthly to the Rental Pricing drop down.

Unfortunately, when I try and preview the test listing it returns an error not found message. I’m using the Genesis Framework theme by StudioPress. So how do I put the listings on a page? I’ve been trying to figure this out for over an hour but can’t find any detailed documentation.

Also, is there a list of shortcodes? I saw a couple of “example” shortcodes but that was all.

I took a screen capture of what I’m trying to do with WP listings as far as getting my listings to display on my posts page (the pic is an example from a different WordPress plugin for real estate listings).

Will I have to create a template or can the WP Listings plugin be hooked (or looped) into the WP posts? If it can’t be done then I’ll use a different plugin because I’m not a coder, but I wanted to check first.
