Me too, everything is back working after downgrading.

I would be greatly interested in this function too, but have not so far been able to find a php script or plugin that does this.

I agree with Miroslav. Popularity, or even visibility in the vastness of the web, does not come overnight. Sometimes it’s a struggle to get it to a decent level of visibility, let alone spark interest in people to become visitors.

My blog isn’t very “visible”, let alone populr, and by far not famous. But I do consider ways to make its contents more visible on the web by creating more “outlets” so people might see some of my postings and then come to my blog. I created several Yahoo groups, several Google groups, and several blogger blogs. Then I “relay” or reblog to all of them.

I think this is supposed to work to do what you want. If the group you want to hide a post from is called “excluded”, you would use the shortcode

[private group=!excluded]This text is seen by everyone except the excluded group.[/private]

I, too, am having these issues. Has there not been a fix yet? I was trying to test the user/admin notification emails and have had to set it for a day ahead instead of a few minutes ahead of expiration because the expiration date does not use my local server’s timezone.

Same issue with me, can’t uncheck or change role affiliation.

I thought about trying another client, but I post by email from work, home and mobile. And work environment locks me down to outlook so I want to keep things “constant” if you will.

If you improve this, fine! If not hey thanks for all your effort on this plugin and the functionality of it is what I’ve needed… format is the icing on the cake!

On a dark blog background it comes out looking like: (screen cap image)

I tried changing the HTML formatting in my client (outlook) but I couldn’t get the font color to actually change as received on the blog end.

I just happened to try sending as plain text and it worked well. I guess that’s my option.

I tried using white font on a dark background in my email client, but the font still came out black in WP. I ended up editing out the formatting in the post itself. I guess there’s no way to manipulate the incoming format.
