In reply to: [Private Content] Private Role= versus Private User ID=I installed it, used shortcode for several user IDs in both recipient and recipient reverse and from all appearances works as expected. I don[‘t know if it is to ravenso’s satisfaction per original request for it.

In reply to: [Private Content] Private Role= versus Private User ID=I don’t have a test site but will install and test on my live blog. I would think if the develop version breaks something I just deactivate/delete and reinstall the last release.

In reply to: [Private Content] Private Role= versus Private User ID=I don’t mean to jump in on someone else’s thread, but I’ve been following and that was an excellent question/request and support reply! I may have a desire to also use this restrict by specific user, either read only or the reverse role. There has been occasion for me to change a registered user’s username. If I use the reverse role to disallow user “james” user ID=5 from a post, and down the road he wants his username changed, it would break this restriction. Whereas, if by userid per the user database, that would remain a static assignment.
Just a thought.
Yes I just tested it and it seems to be working just fine. Thank you!
That is awesome, thank you! And thank you for your plugin!
That would be great if you could/would, thank you. It would be beneficial in administering the site to be able to preview/view posts restricted to the assigned custom and maybe even built-in roles outside of the site admin posts.

In reply to: [User Access Manager] Cannot untick [LR] locked tag next to postI have this problem too. Is there no solution or answer to this?

In reply to: [User Access Manager] User Access Manager Private Extension brokenNo error before the change, just the failure to integrate and hidden text is not seen. After the add the ‘_user_’ the error appears. The ‘ apostrophes are already in the original code and I don’t change/replace it, just add the underscore before and after user. Is that an incorrect approach?
I am also trying to find a fix for UAMPPE. I followed the above fix, but instead get an error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method UserAccessManager\UserGroup\UserGroup::getGroupName() in /home/myhome/mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/user-access-manager-private-public-extension/includes/UserAccessManagerPrivateExtension.php on line 129
Did I miss something in the fix recommendation besides the underscore before and after in ‘_user_’ ?

In reply to: [User Access Manager] User Access Manager Private Extension brokenHello, I’ve been searching for a fix for UAMPPE also and came across this. However, when I edit the UserAccessManagerPrivateExtension.php file per the above suggestion, I get an error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method UserAccessManager\UserGroup\UserGroup::getGroupName() in /home/myhome/songiuno.com/wp-content/plugins/user-access-manager-private-public-extension/includes/UserAccessManagerPrivateExtension.php on line 129
Anyone have ideas? there something else to this fix I missed?
