I see the example, but how exactly do you specify the post URL, user name, post title, etc. in the admin page for customizing the email?

For example, to get the line:

What do I put in the plugin settings/template? I imagine something like:

Can you put JavaScript in text widgets? The theme definitely strips script from articles, but it doesn’t surprise me if this happens with ordinary posts as well.

Try switching your permalinks to anything other than the default.
