I found out that the issue I has was because my database has reached its limit, after cleaning the database I tried to clone the site again and it works great. Thank you Rene for the plugin and your kind help.

Hi Ross, thank you very much for your reply.
Effectively the problems were caused by the size of the option table, because it was 1GB and my host only offer 1.024 GB. This is the error code i got: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/…/…/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/myweb/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 641

I cleared all transients but as I said, the total size of the option table was the same. Then I contacted my host and they insisted that I have to eliminate more lines to downsize it… then I tried to optimize table as you suggested, nothing changed… I contacted my host again and they confirmed that since the table was too big, somehow the change can′t be made completely. So they duplicated the latest database and eliminate the other one.

I will talk to my host about InnoDB, although they said that if I clear the transients from time to time, this shouldnt be a problem again.

Thank you so much for your help, and again, great plugin!

Ok I will keep that in mind to have the database restoring as the last option, I only made my own website so everytime when something comes up they are all new to me and from there I learn.
My last upload was 10 days ago, I will investigate more on what could the problem be, thank you for being supportive, its so important especially for amateur like me.

Hi Rene, I installed the plugin yesterday and before that everything was running well, (I just received a new order from the website before the change) and I haven′t done anything else besides adding the plugin and running it… I uninstalled it in the plugin section in wordpress directly.

Do you know What could be the reason? I contacted my host for restoring a backup of the site (but not the database, as my host charges additionally) and it didnt change anything. Could you please help?

Do you think restoring the database might fix the problem? I would try if it might. Many thanks.

Hi Rene, thank you for your reply. I haven′t try the beta version yet. I just figured that now I cannot add any image (Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/…/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/mysite/wp-admin/includes/post.php), post nor online shop order (Error 400) could be placed (I use woocommerce).

I have uninstalled the plugin but still didnt work.

What could I do to fix it? Would the beta version likely to cause the same problem? Thanks

For me its the same all my database are not empty. so the proposed solution doesnt work for me.

Same problem here, the staging data base was created to its 35% and stopped – failed – gateway timeout. I tried to do it again but it wouldn′t even start, so it stays at 0% and the same error message appear again… how can I overcome this? Thank you!

Hi all, I found the solution. All of the errors were because of the data base in host was reaching its limit. I was in the “save mode” were only 10 mb of data base was allowed, and now I switch to another mode and I have 1 GB.

I had a plugin on limited login attempts but it isn′t activated. I have recovered the password using login page but it didnt work, but I noticed that the system recognized the change of password.

Strange thing is that in my other website that I haven′t used for a long time also have the same problem for login, and wordpress login page acts in the same way as my main website.

For both website when I try to leave a comment as guest there will be an error message saying – the comment cannot be saved, please try again later.

Also, for both websites the shopping carts empty automatically.

I think maybe this is related to the memory limit, could it be? I increased the limit in the wp-config.php, but nothing happened, I talked to my host and they said that if this is the problem, when I was still able to log into the dashboard there should be an error message saying so. But I have never seen that.

Any sugguestions on what I can try doing?

Hi Sascha, thank you so much for replying!

I have tried resetting the password, and it seems that the system recognized the new password (I know that because it responded differently with the new password and wrong password), but it just wont let me login.

The line in /homepages/wp-admin/includes/post.php line 631 is:

    $post->post_content = apply_filters( ‘default_content’, $post_content, $post );

Sorry that I am not familiar with coding so I dont really know what that command stands for…

I will try the way to update the woocommerce via FTP, the wordpress is the latest version. I didnt upload it cause everytime I update a new version it gives me a lot of errors, and I do not know programming so I often have a lot of problem in solving them…

    Thank you very much!

Sorry that I dont have any knowledge on coding so maybe I didnt do the right thing changing the name of the plugin folder, I am just reading the forums and documentations and try to solve the error… thanks

Hi Josephbydesign, thanks for replying. I mean tried changing the name of the folder “plugin” and created a empty “plugin” folder via FTP, so as to rule out the possibility that any plugins are causing the problem, but I couldn′t login neither, so it seemed that the problem wasnt caused by any of the plugins.

I also find that I have the same problem when I try to log into my other website, which I have not use for a long time (the wordpress in this site for sure is an old version). I am redirected in the same way as the website I mentioned when I type in the correct password.

Any idea what could cause the error?

    Thank you!
