Did you check https://blogplay.com/sociable-for-wordpress/ in the “Changing the location of the icons” section?

In sociable configuration’s menu you can enable/disable where sociable inserts the toolbar (front page/posts/pages/etc).

Could you guys send us screenshots and urls to see the problem ourselves? [email protected]

@dl63 Are you using the latest version of Sociable? We’ve tried rearranging the icons and it’s working, try to re-install the plugin and see if the problem persists.

Are you sure you have upgraded to 3.5.1? We fixed those two issues. Send us a screenshot at [email protected] if it still doesn’t work

@pento you are trying to validate it in HTML 5, it is validated for XHTML transitional. We will deal with the duplicate IDs in the upcoming versions

Version 3.5.1 is being uploaded right now, should be available shortly for download:

– fixed the xhtml validation issues
– ‘target=blank’ issue solved
– sprites can now be disabled, allowing for custom icons
– sprites have been disabled for RSS
– you can now deactivate the blogplay widget from your wordpress dashboard

@rickybuchanan you can call us blogplay people, we like that. There are lots of us, so a general term is awesome. Sprites will be able to be taken off in the next update (coming monday, coding right now)

@fredromano the problem with that is that some services (like Twitter) don’t support the thickbox

– The XHTML validation problems will be fixed
– The “target=blank” is fixed, allowing the opening of social networks in new tabs.
– You can unselect the BlogPlay Status gadget on the WP Dashboard
– You can choose to not use Sprites, allowing for custom icons

(If you want to use sprites with your current set of icons you have to modify sprite-services.png and the icon coordinates in sociable.php)

It looks like a Javascript error on your site, we tried installing everything like you did and it works.

@mattdot: we’re working on that, sprites will be included in the next version of the plugin.
