I was having similar issues where the slider from my Customizr theme wasn’t showing. Commenting out line 273 fixed it for me.

I’m having the same problem with the slider disappearing from Customizr theme

I restored my site from backup and starting installing updates one by one to see which was causing the issue. It turns out its the latest version of NextGEN Gallery that’s somehow causing this issue. As soon as I disabled the plugin, my slider returned. Will dig further to see if I can find an answer or workaround.

I’m having the same issue. After updating to WP 4.8 and updating plugins and Customizr, the Frontpage slider refuses to show. I tried switching to the demo slider and creating new sliders and it sliders refuse to show on the frontpage. The div carousel slider div doesn’t isn’t there.

Not sure if its one of my plugins, the WP update, the Customizr version or some combination thats causing this issue.

Thanks. I was able to paste the ip-address.js into the jquery.datatables.sorting-plugins.js.min and it works. I just gotta remember that if that plugin gets updated my code will go byebye. Maybe one day there will be a child plugin option in wordpress.

Sorry I found out I had the Reading setting set to show 10 posts. I had to lower the number and wp-pagenavi showed up at the bottom of the screen. Sorry for wasting your time. Thanks you for all your help.

I’m trying to get “older posts” link to show on the main page. I saw you have wp-pagenavi included with your theme and would like to use it. I’m not sure how to add it to the main page.

I tested it on OS X 10.11 and on an iPhone & iPad Air running IOS 9.3.3 and it works.

Not sure how to replicate it besides just adding it to the main page on my site. You can go to my site to check out the problem. https://www.labsrc.com The Simple Share link is at the bottom of my Sidebar and will always point to the latest Post Excerpt instead of the home page.

I tried changing line 123 to get_posts but it still doesnt show my monthly archive posts. I noticed that the months that show up are wrong as well.

I tried switching themes and the monthly archive page shows the correct posts for that month so it must be something with date.php that’s causing the problem.

On my test site, I tried renaming date.php to bad-date.php. When I do that it shows all of the posts from that month when I click on a month in the Archives.

I then tried disabling all of my plugins and renaming bad-date.php back to date.php. When I do that no posts are listed in the Monthly archive. It doesn’t look like its a plugin conflict.

Is there anything else I can try?
