Thank’s again for you time trying to help me, I really apreciate.
I just tried again deactivating Really Simple SSL, unfortunately without success. I’ll try to ask theme developers, but I can’t see anything related there.
I really don’t know what I’m missing here, really strange. Thanks again hjogiupdraftplus !
I explored everything I was able to, so your current and future input are much appreciated.
RegardsHi hjogiupdraftplus, and thanks again for your input/help.
I actually don’t think there is something from my hosting. It’s a manually installed WP, nothing “managed by hosting”.
I tried, one by one, to deactivate quite a few plugins to see if behaviour changed, without success so far.

hjogiupdraftplus thank you for your input.
Indeed wp-login is accessible and wp-login.php is not.
I’m trying to find which plugin could be interfering with this, without success so far.
It’s behaving like this on 3 different websites on 2 different Hosting services. The 3 websites share common plugins to some degree.
what do you mean with “Hope you have wp-login.php renamed.” ? are you advising me to rename it again to something else than it’s original name ?Regards
Hi hjogiupdraftplus, thanks a lot for your help.
here it is :
https://pastebin.com/3me7ap6C (wp-login is back to its original name)
I have no other plugin that would interfere that I would think of.
Also, I can reproduce this with 2 other websites, one with custom permalink, the other with “name of post” permalink. So not sure if it’s related.
Kind regards- This reply was modified 1 year, 1 month ago by sndlrd.
Hi everyone,
I have a similar problem of still having the wp-login.php page available with a custom/renamed one being set. wp-admin is getting the usual unavailable message and the custom/renamed page works well though.
I also have a custom permalink structure which I would like to maintain.
At the moment I manually renammed wp-login.php which obviously throws a 404 now. but I’d like a longer term solution.
I would appreciate any input or help on this
Kind regards ??
