Thanks for the info! I thought background images were fit to width. Good to know. Thanks again!

    Hi

Thank you for the reply. I did fix it by excluding the page from WPtouch pages. Still, making it WPtouch compatible might be something to look into in the future. It works fine on responsive themes, though.

It may be an irrelevant question, but I still don’t understand how background images work. They behave pretty badly even in responsive themes, often cutting off parts of the picture. I like the fixed image position effect – I use it as padding between main slides – but I also want those images to carry some meaning, and when parts of the message get cut off, it doesn’t look good. Yes, I am using an image for that purpose. I am not using any text in most of the slides.

    Thanks again!

Ok, I have found the solution. Inspecting the code in Chrome revealed that the plugin was incorporating one of its short codes in the pages…The culprit was [wpuf attachments], so disabling attachments in the post field in Others (WP User Frontend settings) fixed the issue.

Oh man… what happens is it fixes the issue… But I really need that plugin. I need a simple post submission to avoid sending my users to the dashboard… Frankly speaking, this plugin crashed my Admin panel once. I increased the PHP memory limit (I am with iPage), and I could activate it after that…
