    Hi Tyler,

    Thanks for the detailed feedback about our plugin. Appreciate it.

    I understand your concern and we’re working on making it more apparent for the users to learn that you need to do a FREE registration to use this lite version. And also improve the UI, so that people don’t have to navigate a lot to find our plugin widget. We’ll push an update with the above as soon as possible.

    As for you not being to import the document, could you please email the document you’re trying to import? Also, what version of MS Word are you using? It seems versions older than 2007 have some issues importing it. Having said that, it is supposed to work with all .docx files.

    Also, we allow only 8 documents to be imported because there is some load on our server that we have to bear for each document imported, hence the limit in the free version. And it is mentioned in our plugin description.

    Thanks!

    Hello Khalyl,

    Apologize for the inconvenience caused. Can you please make sure that you are using the latest version v2.0.5 of the plugin? Usually cases like this happen because of some JavaScript error in the theme.

    Also if you could send us more details about your issue at [email protected], we’d be happy to look into the issue for you.

    Thanks!

    Hey Josh,

    There is a small “Register Form” section right below the “Enter License Key” section and you will get the Free Version License Key then and there. You’ll also receive the License Key on the registered email.

    And you can start using the free version of the plugin immediately. I’m not sure why / how you missed it. If you still do not find it, I suggest you to download a fresh copy and install again.

    If you still face the same problem, please raise a support ticket at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to provide you with the support.

    Hope this helps.

    We have recently added in plugin check to make sure that the user has added the code snippet in the theme file.

    Hi Isis,

    I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

    The problem you are facing is because of the quotes in the action URL. Once if you enter the action URL along with quotes the quotes will not appear in the text box but it will still be present in the HTML code.

    So, the procedure to remove them would be to:

    1. remove the URL and only enter some dummy text like abc in the action URL field
    2. Save it
    3. Save the template
    4. Edit the template again
    5. Enter the actual action URL (make sure you don’t copy the quotes)
    6. Save, then Save the template.

    If this looks confusing, just help us your login and we would be happy to fix for you.

    Yes, you can make the feature box show up only on certain pages but that feature is only available in the Pro version. Please consider upgrading.

    Hi Ikechi Awazie,

    Thanks for trying out our plugin.

    It looks like an issue with the responsiveness.

    Adding the below CSS code to your Custom CSS section would resolve it.

    INSTRUCTIONS: How to Add the Below CSS Code
    Go to Feature Box Lite > Templates > Select Your Template > Custom CSS (under your template) > Paste the below code as it is.

    /* —————- */
    #pm_featurebox { z-index: 1; }
    /* —————- */

    If the issue doesn’t get resolved or if you have any other concerns, please feel free to email us at [email protected] with a screenshot and we’d be happy to look into it for you.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi,

    Thank you for leaving the comment for our plugin. And I am glad you did that because otherwise you’d have been left in the absolutely wrong impression you have about it.

    I am guessing that you didn’t follow the user guide which clearly mentions that you need to add a code snippet to your template header file for the plugin to display on your front-end. This requirement is same for all versions of the plugin.

    While some people fail to read the user guide, they usually contact support and we help them setup the plugin properly.

    Again, to be very clear, the lite version is a fully functional plugin with two premium templates that you can use for free forever.

    I request you please go back and try installing the plugin again. Feel free to approach our support if you need help.

    Regards,

    Hey there,

    Have you added the code snippet to the template header as per the install instructions and the User guide? If you haven’t done it yet, please check here to learn how to do it: https://plugmatter.com/user-guide/#add_code

    It is a one-time task. After that you can simply enable the feature box from plugin’s General Settings and the optin form will be displayed on the website.

    If you need any help in doing so, please feel free to contact support and we’d be happy to assist you with it.

    Hi, sorry for the delayed response. Well, you need for first create the template to use it. For Lite Version users, you will get two templates that you can edit and add it to your website.

    After installing, simply go to Templates -> Add New and there you would be able to create your first template and then enable it on your website.

    Hope this helps!
