I totally agree with @csgaraglino. As an site owner with many authors and contributors it would love to see those two above points be implemented!
I would go a little further when it comes to public and private notes. When posting a public note there should be the ability to send to specific groups too. Let’s say you are an administrator and you want to send the note to your authors and contributors only. There should be an pulldown option to send to anyone under your role. An author will have the dropdown to send to other authors and contributors.
Make sure when you add that ability works with User Role Editor plugin. ??

If you really want a change then I suggest giving them a current review of one star and tell everyone why. We need to let new users of wordpress know that this plugin is no longer a 4 star plugin and we need to get it down to a 1 star plugin. Maybe doing so would get them to really fix it correctly.

Well if that is the case then my issue is still there.

Hey I just noticed this guy is having the same issue as I am I cannot get into the SlimStat – Options. What was the fix you sent him?

Found slimstat_can_admin in option_name field. Deleted row. Deactivated/activiated plugin. No change.

Nope. I did a search for anything like slimstat and came up zero rows in that table

I just went to phpmyadmin and there is no record in the wp_options table that has a row where option_value = ‘slimstat_can_manage’

Yes I did manually update the plugin. Did not fix the issue.

I deactivated/activated the plugin and everything started to work except I still cannot goto the any of the option pages. I still get the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I to am not getting any data in the recent keywords, recent users, and other widgets.
Also when I goto the Options section and try to click any of the tabs like Maintenance, Views, Filters,Permissionms or Support, i get the following message:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

Not sure what happened but this just happened in 2.4

I installed your plugin on the site I am working on and it runs but it doesn’t give all of the page as being hit. It just hits the URL home.
When I ran the test string against it, then I get a list of all pages being hit. It there something I am missing?

I’ve did as you said and I still get the error when you click on the image that says, “The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again.”

No. I un-installed the plugin and removed the data from the media library and started over from scratch still now working.. I wish I could show you the site, but it is sitting on my local computer until my club approves it then I will put it up on the web.. If you want to contact me via yahoo at [email protected] I can let you remote login to my computer and you can look at it.

Can’t you use the description area for the link, there is another plugin that uses it and if they description begins with https:// it knows to link out to the URL when you click it.. This can be a temporary fix until wordpress allows custom links in the media library.

Anybody having this issue?
