In the header.php of your theme… the link to CSS seems to be hardcoded because it’s not pointed at the “main” subdirectory. Change that (and anything else that’s hardcoded) to include “main” and that’ll fix the lack of CSS styling. Might even fix the error.

What’s on line 91 of your functions.php? Also, was the theme working correctly before you started moving things around?

when i update my permalink structure, do i need to add /main/ before the custom structure i’m using? /%category%/%postname%/

Nope. Just click save changes.

You can try switching back to your custom theme but I think you have missing files which is causing the error.

if i change to the default theme, will that mess up any customizations i’ve made to the theme i’m using now?

No. It’ll still be there exactly as you left it.

Ah… sorry… also reactivate your plugins.

Awesome! Now you should be able to log into your admin. Do that and then #1. update your permalinks and #2. change to the default theme. The error is coming from the theme you’re using.

#2. We have to take this a step at a time. The next thing you need to do is download the .htaccess file from the “main” subdirectory. Then you need to make a copy of the index.php and change this line:

require(‘./wp-blog-header.php’);

to

require(‘./main/wp-blog-header.php’);

Then upload both it and the .htaccess file to your root.

my problem though, is that i want to go to fatblastzone.com and see the content…not fatblastzone.com/main

You’ll need to upload the index.php for wp-includes also. It’s missing.
