In reply to: [AMP] AMP Error

    Hello,

We are receiving an error as well. AMP will not allow us to run a scan on the site, nor will it create AMP pages. Every page receives the following errors. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. But it has no affect. I’m not entirely sure what I need to do to resolve the issue.

Call to a member function hasAttribute() on null (0) [Error]

Apparently, I was looking at the wrong. I found a different page in the Google console that broke down the pages/posts with errors. Now I’m just not sure how to fix them. Hmmmm…

I guess I will have to go through our theme support and ask them for help. We’re using Jannah, which is supposed to be compatible with the AMP plugin we’re using, so I don’t know what’s going on. I’m out of my depth here on this one.

    Thanks, James!

    Okay. Thanks @jeffmatson

The update I tried to do was Heartbeat 1.1.2, yes. I have not tried Update 1.1.3.

Correction: No, according to my dashboard, I only have 1.1 installed for the Heartbeat Control. When I updated it this morning, I got a 500 Error. I had to have the plugin turned off before the website would come back up.

Heartbeat Control’s update crashed my site as well. I tried editing the file as suggested and adding the slash, but it didn’t work. I’m not sure if I’m running PHP 7, but I could be. Wish I had access to another copy of the file before the new update. Our site relies on heartbeat control to keep WordPress from using all our server memory.

It is also changing all links to no-follow and adding rel: noopener, norefferer

We are experiencing a similar issue. We are an online local news site. We’ve recently gotten a separate server for all of our images; the authors discovered after my inquiry that Sirv media doesn’t have access to the featured image settings and are currently looking into doing so.

Their support team suggested this plugin as a fix in the meantime.

The image appears correctly on the backend of the site and on the actual post page itself. However, it is not appearing on the home page. I’ve looked at the console for errors and can’t find any. But I also can’t even see the image url in the console panel for that particular element.

This is the website https://www.smcorridornews.com and this is the post in question: Food Bank Thanks Calvary Baptist Church For 30 Year Partnership

Since I know that this may take a day or two for a response or for you to see it, I’ll make sure the post remains on the homepage in one of the newsboxes. It will probably appear at the bottom.

We are running the most recent version of WordPress because most of the plugins we are using alongside this require it. I don’t think it’s a conflict between another plugin because there were no red flags on the console, but I have a very novice level experience and understanding with programming and PHP coding.

    Any suggestions?
