ok, well it sorta worked… I have removed the code, suggested above, because events imported using the iCalendar/.ics Feed URL function would jump to the top of the feed (regardless of when the imported event was originally posted).

Because the ‘ICS Import Setting’ can only be set to “Hourly”, Twice a Day” or “Daily”… events I posted yesterday don’t show on the feed because imported events just ‘refreshed’ itself seven hours ago…

Solution?

1. (preferred) would be nice to be able the “ICS Import Setting’ to refresh only when I tell it too
2. specify which event categories get added to the feed

this would be awesome.. I’m currently using the plugin ‘Duplicate Post’ but most fields used by the calendar are duplicated…

thanks Catrinasgarden for the input, but I didn’t create the page, so editing the title isn’t an option (and I’m not sure that would help in this instance). The affected pages are generated by Marketpress Lite. I tried creating the page, but that didn’t help….

well, shoot. It appears to be a Theme issue. tried it with the Twenty Eleven default theme and it works fine. Still, any ideas on how to fix (other than ‘try a different theme’)

having the same issue with an overblown right navigational symbol, how did you fix it?

after posting I found a response to a similar post. Deactivated the AddThis Social Bookmarking plugin and the Google subscription processed worked. But need both plugins. Is there another solution?
