Hi @ravennce,
Thank you for contacting us! One of the more common causes for this is page or site caching on the site showing an out of date version of the page with the Instagram feed. If you have page or site caching enabled, either from an installed plugin or directly from your web host, you can try lowering the TTL or Cache Timeout value so the page is refreshed more frequently. We also have a setting in the plugin that can often help with this type of issue: WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Advanced > Load Initial Posts with AJAX. Enabling this can help ensure the latest posts are shown in the feed.
If these steps do not resolve the problem, we would need to see more details about the site to better diagnose the issue, so please send us a support request through our website here.
I hope this helps!
Best regards,
LouisHi @eltaller2023,

In reply to: [Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed – Easy Social Feeds Plugin] Feed displayHi Stefania,
Thank you for contacting us! I checked the feed on this page and I actually did see a couple of CSS rules from the site’s theme that may be causing an issue (especially the width rule): https://a.supportally.com/i/P1ZT3x
Could you test removing these rules or temporarily switching to one of the out-of-the-box WordPress themes to check if the feed displays correctly like this?
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please let me know.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed – Easy Social Feeds Plugin] Feed DisplayHi @emilyroro14,
Thank you for contacting us! I checked the Instagram feed on https://alicullifordhealth.com/ and I saw that your site’s theme is applying its own style rules to override the default styling of the feed: https://a.supportally.com/i/uB4pBz. This appears to be causing conflicts.
When I remove the wrapper class added to the Instagram feed to prevent these custom style rules from applying (only in my browser), the feed displays like this: https://a.supportally.com/i/kBwvZo
I would suggest reaching out to your site theme’s author to ask them to remove or correct any custom style rules they are applying to the Instagram feed. You could also test this by temporarily switching to a different theme such as one of the out-of-the-box WordPress themes.I hope this helps!
Best regards,
LouisHi @mohit2002,
Thank you for contacting us! Please first ensure that the plugin is updated to the most recent version (6.5.0 for the free version). If problem still persists after updating or the plugin is already updated, please try disabling any browser extensions or try editing the feed in a private/incognito browser. Sometimes certain browser extensions can cause conflicts like this.
If this does not resolve the issue, please send us a support request on our website here and we’ll be happy to investigate more closely.
Best regards,

LouisHi @raied,
Thanks for sending the link! I checked the feed on this page against the posts for the account directly on Instagram. On Instagram, the first three posts are “pinned” posts. In Instagram’s API, pinned posts are not supported and these will instead appear based on the original date they were published. So in our plugin they will not be displayed at the top of the feed like on instagram.com.
After these three though, it appears that all the recent posts from Instagram are appearing in the feed on the page. Here is how it appeared when I compared both: https://a.supportally.com/i/3hiDKY.
I hope this helps! If you still see any problems, please let me know.Best regards,
Louis
