Hi and thanks for your improvement ideas. Regarding the links around controls, they were added to improve the compatibility with the screen readers. I will test and check the behavior you mentioned and if needed, I will release a new update. Regarding font awesome which indeed is also loaded by Elementor, using the same handle will avoid the situation when the library is loaded twice.

I made a test on my development environment with the media files you used in your player and it worked out of the box. I can assume that the problem is caused by your specific environment. Do you have a caching mechanism that might break the js file?

Hi,
The player works with external URL as well. Just paste the complete URL of your SoundCloud music file song into the audio file input in the Elementor widget settings. You can get the correct URL from your SoundCloud feed URL. Please let me know if something is not clear!
