Thanks for using the plugin.

I had a quick look and it seems as if it’s having trouble finding the video.

Sometimes this happens if the Vimeo video is set to private.

Could that be the case? I’m not sure how Vimeo works – if it’s not the above, could the video be set to a “draft” status instead of fully published?

I checked your site but didn’t see a popup on exit. Perhaps you disabled it if it wasn’t working.

However, I did notice a JavaScript error in the console which could possibly be related to the close button issue.

Perhaps you could copy the site to a test server, and disable all plugins to try and isolate the problem.

Are you able to provide me a backup of your site?

But due to other commitments, I’m not sure if I will release another extension – it might end up in the core plugin.

If this happens, it will be the z-index of the item that’s being covered that you need to change.

The z-index of the YouTube video thumbnail is pretty low, so if you set the z-index of the dropdown to anything above 20, you should be good.

.class-name-of-your-dropdown {
z-index: 20;
}
