I believe TDO Mini Forms can do this.

1.0 is the latest version and contains that fix. I had an earlier version posted on my website, but not here. Sorry for the confusion.

I’ll look into adding the “Save as draft” option. Other suggested features so far include custom fields, the wysiwyg/tinymce editor, and the tag autocompletion. I’m trying to be somewhat careful about adding all the bells and whistles (after all, that’s what the full WP editor is for…plus there’s the new Quick Post feature), but the draft mode does make sense for this: add quick thoughts through the posthaste box and then polish them up later for posting.

I wrote a plugin that adds the Prologue box to any theme. (I added a “Title” field as well.)

Aside from testing it on a few themes on my own WP install, it hasn’t been tested at all so I can’t guarantee it will work well. If this seems useful to people & actually works properly (I’ve never written a real plugin before) I’ll submit it to the WP plugin directory.
