Not sure what happened the first time but after doing another backup, now it’s encrypted and I’m assuming the file structure is good too.

Now I have a new question:
My backup is 39mb. What is a 4MiB limit equal to? I never heard of MiB
I’ll assume that I have to upload the enc file via ftp.
After I do this , I am unclear of the process.
Do I select the enc file to decrypt on the decrypt backup page?
Then does this create a new decrypted file on the server?

It worked!
I deleted that part of the code in the single.php

To re-iterate, I am trying to remove tags from being displayed. As I said, the word tag does not come up on any keyword searches on any of the php files.

C’mon guys , someone must have come across this before?
I did a search on the forum but all solutions require deleting code with reference to a _tag_ keyword. I searched all my php files and that word is not in there. I’m not a programmer so I don’t understand how that’s possible.

Re-arranging the menus in the “menu” page under appearance I believed used to work, doesn’t now.

WP-PageNavi – Don’t see how this can do that, not obvious to me any way. In all the documentation there is no mention of ordering of menus.

I am not qualified to to even venture a guess. What would be an indication that it was theme related? Basically when I would go to the site, chinese text would appear on the screen , nothing else. When I tried to go into the WP login for my site it was completely broken.

Would love to upgrade, but I can’t use it due to reasons mentioned in my original post.
So as far as my issue goes, I have no way to resolve my issues thru WP?

I have disabled all plugins, no change. Any other ideas?

I have opened the “show error console” to find the error. In order to add the code above I do not understand where the code is supposed to go.
Is “widget_logic_visual_admin_enqueue_script() ” a path?

The reason I am seeking help here is because the theme author is not responding to my questions. I happen to really like the theme I am using and don’t want to go thru the process from scratch if I can avoid it. My question above was very simple about accessing the jquery plugin. I appreciate the responses nontheless.

I am using a template so for some reason the jquery slider is integrated into the theme. In the plugin section of wordpress it doesn’t show up. My access to it is a simplified user interface incorporated into the theme.
How would I update this “plugin”?
