I wouldn’t say I fixed it but I found a workaround. I replaced the_excerpt with the_content and then just placed the more tag in my posts to dictate my own excerpt.

Nope, that isn’t doing it. Hmmm. I’ll keep playing with the code and see if I can figure it out. Thanks for your help though (:

It is in content.php. It does not only effect the quotes, it effects any type of post that does not have enough content to fill up the excerpt. https://dumbledrane.net as you can see.

That is all I could find relating to the excerpt and I can’t find “by by” anywhere in the php
