In reply to: double-dashThe best part about this, now that it is fixed. Is that you do the crazy talk but your doppelganger in Israel claims to be not crazy at all.

In reply to: themes won’t work?this looked familiar from a problem someone had awhile ago. Do this and it will probably help.
Funny that when you past the url of your style.css
crazy–talk.org/wordpress/wp-content/themes/rin/style.css
into a browser it redirects to
https://israblog.nana.co.il/blogread.asp?blog=68915.
The whole backtick thing just doesn’t work as I would hope…at least when including anchor tags.

In reply to: Setting up a large archive of sermons, articles etc.You could put enough info in the title and have the people use the archive to browse the sermons.
Sermon series one : Topic one of sermon series one
Sermon series one : Topic two of sermon series oneMaybe have a Sermons page. On it, tell how to browse the archives for each series and maybe have links to the first sermon of each series.

It must be one of the settings in general options or the plugin. It looks like it is looking to the root of the host and not finding

In reply to: Uploaded exactly the same theme files but it looks differentChange the blue background pic in photoshop (or some other image manipulation program) by changing it to a B&W to get the grey or de-saturate it completely. I’m 3 hours away from my house, I’m at my mother’s, or else I would do it for you in a couple of minutes.
It would then be a perfect grey match.

In reply to: Uploaded exactly the same theme files but it looks differentIn a css sense, the only border I see on either page that you have linked to is around the search box.
If you are talking about the dropshadow effect, a different jpg…Surely uh-hun, would make a difference. Your kubrickbg.jpg in the Object Lessons page doesn’t have the same guassian blurred dropshadow effect to be able to line up with the header and footer as the one in your Community Connect page.
As far as I can tell on both of these pages the only difference is because of the different jpgs.

In reply to: Uploaded exactly the same theme files but it looks differentBut this one and 2 others even though it is exactly the same is missing the boarder etc in the middle.
I’m not sure what exactly you mean by the boarder in the middle but you have two different background images.
kubrickbg.jpg
Community Connect and Object Lessons which make it look different.

In reply to: SmartyPants Type Pluginwell there is a difference between a hyphen-minus (what we use on the keyboard) and an actual minus, em and en dash.. so something has to be done ??
WP converts “—” to an em dash because it converts “–” to an en dash. Just need to stutter a little longer to get an em dash…
