Hi, I do have Site Kit installed but I use All in One SEO to plug in my Google Analytics code, and I also have my analytics ID in the Web Stories settings. Like I said I was seeing them pop up in real time users before the update but not now.

Just resubmitted my site health to you.

Another update: the following story was featured in my own Google discover within the google app on iOs today:

and I had the same problem– any animated elements were not visible.

Thanks for your reply. I’m glad you can see them okay. I’ve screen recorded both stories I linked to and uploaded the files in this drive folder:

You can compare them to see that some pages look totally blank because all elements have animations, others are missing other vital elements like text, titles, or background shapes. This is on my iPhone 11 Pro in Chrome — I also have auto update for all my apps so I’m on the latest version of Chrome (90.0.4430.78) AND the latest version of iOS (14.5.1).

Following up, viewing from a desktop on chrome it looks fine. It does seem like all missing elements are those that have animations on them.

Viewing on Chrome on iOS, iPhone 11 Pro

This story is now missing a ton of elements, shapes, photos etc. It was fine last week (and actually got a ton of views (4k+) and now almost every page is missing an element. Page two is completely blank for me as well. Since this is one of my most-viewed stories, I’d like to fix this ASAP but I know you wanted to see one before fixing.

For this particular issue of having to re-add the photo, I can’t replicate the problem until it happens again, as once I re-added it, it was fine. I haven’t been able to get any other information for the user it happened with (a program director with the Acorn web stories program). I suppose I’ll just have to reach back out if it happens again because I had previously re-added the photo already.

Yes, I did so privately thru the form and got a reply it was received, did you get it?

The user was on Chrome on a Mac Pro to view the story

– I’m hosted on GoDaddy
– I submitted Site Health info thru the form.

Not sure about web app firewalls, I’d have to double check with my developer. I have wordfence installed for unauthorized login attempts.

Yes, the media file exists in the wordpress media library, I’m trying to reference a file that’s been in my library for years.
No, I’m not offloading media.

Does anything else need to be done besides the publisher ID and unit ID in the wordpress settings? I now have one web story that’s garnering 2000+ impressions and it’s still not serving ads. Please keep in mind I do not have any other Google plugins or code on my site as my display ads are run through a separate network, but before them I used adsense and my account is still active due to YouTube monetization.

Unfortunately when I posted there, the platinum product expert who replied didn’t know what Web Stories were, and said that the link was not monetizable ??

How would one pull from an outside storage location into the story?
