I am trying to update our PHP version to 8.2 but this plugin is creating a critical error. If I deactivate the plugin then PHP 8.2 works perfect.
I see from the thread above this was fixed and can grab the update from Github version 1.7.15.3 — however, my plugin shows the version 2.4.3. What am I missing? The plugin is Cooked Classic.
Hi devbrandix! Did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue and am stumped.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid] security vulnerabilityThank you! Very much appreciated and great support!
No error messages. They appear to upload just fine. No security plugins installed either.
Hi socialdude, thanks for the quick response.
There isn’t any caching plugins installed since it is a staging site. I have cleared my browser cache multiple times and even tried browsers that have never been on this page…no luck.
What did you see on your end? The custom icons (images) I uploaded have an off-white background with purple social icon color. All I see are the plugin’s default icon set.
Thanks

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Accepted query strings feature not working for filterspage speed tools such as tools.pingdom.com, Yslow, gtmetrix…etc don’t just look at actual page speed (how fast your page loads) but are giving you a grade based on a specific set of rules and whether you are following those rules.
I have had websites that loaded very fast but got “not so great” scores only because I did’t meet certain criteria. I have also had sites that I felt took forever to load but got a 96% score because I went to the extra trouble to implement the list of requirements.
Long story short…it is taking your cache into account but your low score is probably based on other factors. Look at the graphs below the score and see where you can improve things.

In reply to: [Testimonials Slider] How to slow transition down?Worked like a charm!! Looks like I was just missing a “,” between the first line and the new “pause:6000” code.
Thank YOU!

In reply to: [Testimonials Slider] How to slow transition down?Hi! when I placed pause:6000 directly after line number 108 in the index.php file…all that happened was it showed all of the testimonials as one time.
I’m pretty sure I did something wrong.
We have tried several testimonial plugins and everyone is agreed they like the look of yours. We just need to get it so people can actually read the testimonials.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Testimonials Slider] How to slow transition down?Hi, sorry to bother but I uploaded the update and it slowed down the “transition” when going from one slide (testimonial) to the next but what I needed was for each slide to stay visible longer before transitioning to the next. I thought that was what “Speed” was for and didn’t realize it was controlling the easing effect.
Is there something I can change in the .js file that would keep each slide visible longer?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Testimonials Slider] How to slow transition down?Hi, thanks for the reply!
Yes, I have tried 1500, 5000, 6500….it all stays the same regardless (guessing around 3000). I would actually like it around 6000 if possible.

In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] Can't post comments on blogyou may have already done this but the place to start is in your Admin >> Settings >> discussion. Make certain the appropriate fields are selected for people to comment.
The other place to look is: at the bottom of your Blog Page and/or Posts while in edit mode you should see a section called Discussion where you can turn comments on or off. If you don’t see this then look at the top right of your site where it says “screen options”. Click that. You will see several options. make sure Discussion is selected. This will make it visible at the bottom of your page/posts where you can turn commenting on or off. Make sure its set to “on”.
Comments are typically turned on by default. If neither of these solutions are the issue then it may be a theme related problem. Some themes have the ability to override the wordpress commenting option. You will need to find your Themes Option which may be a selection on the left of your Admin or possibly under Settings.
If you need more clarification let me know. You can reach me by email sladestyle(at)gmail(dot)com or I could probably throw some screenshots together to help explain.

In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] Can't post comments on blogDo either of you have the plugin wp-growmap-anti-spambot activated? I was having this same issue after installing this plugin. As soon as I deactivated the plugin I was no longer getting this error and comments were back to normal.
Hope this helps.
