    Hey there, @rabbitshavefangs!

Thanks for your candid feedback regarding our WooCommerce Tab Manager extension! There may be a misunderstanding here – we absolutely do not allow third parties to market through our plugins.

We occasionally make recommendations for our Jilt email marketing app in plugins offered through the WooCommerce.com marketplace — these cross-sells are limited and will be permanently hidden as soon as you dismiss the first notice.

We’ve heard from many users who reach out to us to ask what other products we’ve built, because they trust our company and our products to improve their stores and businesses. We’ve tried to strike a balance between offering information we know some merchants find helpful, while ensuring that you can permanently hide this if you don’t want to see it.

These notices are not distributed in any of our offerings available on www.remarpro.com, such as the Custom Product Tabs Lite plugin, which this review is for.

We do this also to comply with www.remarpro.com standards for in-plugin messaging, despite the fact that any experience you’ve had with this type of messaging would not be found within any of our free plugins distributed through www.remarpro.com, Custom Product Tabs Lite included.

We’d love to talk with your more about your concerns and address them in any way we can. Could you contact our team directly at: https://www.skyverge.com/contact/

    Cheers,
    Ian

Facebook for WooCommerce 2.0.1 has been released.

The team at Facebook has made a number of fixes resolving the connection issues some users reported after updating to Facebook for WooCommerce 2.0.0. SkyVerge has made some minor improvements within the plugin that will eliminate some rare connection issues, as well.

Thank you so much to everyone who assisted us in troubleshooting these errors. The support of the community has been extremely valuable to both our team, and to the team at Facebook, in troubleshooting these errors.

If you are still experiencing any issues after upgrading to Facebook for WooCommerce 2.0.1, please create a post in the support forum for assistance:

    Hey @salamasherif,

The best way to uninstall the data this plugin sets is by installing the following small plugin we’ve created. This will add a new tool available at WooCommerce > Status > Tools called “Reset Facebook for WooCommerce settings”. Please click the Reset Settings button here, and then navigate back to the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin settings screen to try again.

Would you please give that a try and let me know if you’re able to re-connect with your new page?

    Thanks,
    Tamara

    Hi @armutdz!

Thanks for writing in to us about this, I appreciate it. ??

Would you please be able to let me know if this is happening with all variable products or just the one?

Additionally, which version of Facebook for WooCommerce are you using? As well, it would be helpful to know what versions of WooCommerce and WordPress you’re using.

Thanks so much for any other information here!

    Julie ??

    Hi @littlewingconnections!

Thanks for coming back to me here, I appreciate it!

Do you have multiple Facebook Catalogs? Can you look through and see if any catalog has your products?

If no catalog has your products, would it be possible for you to share a system status with me here? You can grab it by going to:

    WooCommerce > Status?and clicking on?Get system report.

    Thanks so much!

    Julie ??

    Hi @sorinciupitu,

Thank you for taking the time to give that a try. I see that you are attempting to reconnect with the black “Connect with Braintree” button. This was actually removed in favor of API keys, recently.

Would you please make sure that you have the latest version of the plugin installed (2.3.11) and follow these installation instructions?

    Thanks!

    Hi @kontinyu

Thanks for getting in touch about Facebook for WooCommerce. I’m happy to help!

There shouldn’t be a limit on number of products to be included in the feed file. However, some products may be skipped from the feed file if they’re missing specific things, like price or out of stock, for example.

Is it possible that the missing products are missing a price, or currently out of stock? Can you provide the exact error text you’re seeing?

    Thanks,
    Kristy

    Hi @javiergaeten1,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

After taking a quick look at the article you linked (thank you!), it sounds like this would need to be done by connecting 2 data source feeds to one product catalog. At this time, our plugin only supports generating a single product feed for your store.

I’d be happy to log a feature request for this on your behalf! Would you please tell me a little bit more about how this would benefit your business so I can share this with our product team?

    Thanks!

    Hi @rogernefkens,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

When Facebook is looking to update your products in your Facebook shop, it reaches out to your site and asks for a product “feed file”, which our plugin generates for Facebook. To be sure all of your products are being added correctly, would you please compare your WooCommerce products to the feed file and then include a copy of that here as well so that I can take a closer look?

You can find the feed file via FTP in your site under /wp-content/uploads/facebook_for_woocommerce/ and it is a CSV that starts with “product_catalog”.

    Thanks!

    Hey @printandweb,

You can share a screenshot by uploading it to a service like Snipboard and pasting in a link here ??

    Thanks,

    Hey?@blauwehand1652,

Thanks for writing to us about our plugin! I’m sorry to hear that the plugin isn’t working as expected. I am happy to help out here. ??

Our recent update temporarily removed immediate sync after product update (you can read more about that in our documentation here) but the plugin will sync up products on an hourly schedule so changes will go up to Facebook relatively quickly.

Are you looking to disable syncing for particular products? If so, you can quickly exclude products from the sync using the Bulk Actions dropdown on your Products listing page:

    Thanks,
    Tamara

    Hi @emm888,

Thank you for clarifying that for us! I was able to confirm with one of our developers that this is indeed possible, with a snippet of code, and I’m happy to share it! However, please be aware of a couple of notes:

    • I’m afraid that customizations are not covered under our support policy, so implementing this directly or modifying it further isn’t something we can assist with.
    • Please be sure you know how to add custom code to your site. Personally, I like the free Code Snippets plugin method.

You can view the snippet here:
    https://gist.github.com/3fae615408e8950ddae706a03f532db5#file-change-feed-file-generation-interval-php

NOTE: To complete the process here, you’ll also need to disable product sync on your Facebook for WooCommerce settings page, save, and enable product sync again (and save). This will clear out the previous schedule and replace it with this one that runs once per day.

Would you please give that a try and let me know if you run into any trouble?

    Thanks!

    Hi @zshifren,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

It sounds like Facebook may no longer be successfully updating your shop with your WooCommerce products. When Facebook is looking to update your products in your Facebook shop, it reaches out to your site and asks for a product “feed file”, which our plugin generates for Facebook.

To be sure all of your products are being added, would you please compare your WooCommerce products to the feed file? You can find the feed file via FTP in your site under /wp-content/uploads/facebook_for_woocommerce/ and it is a CSV that starts with “product_catalog”.

We may need to look at a couple of different things here to see where the issue is coming from, but we can start there.

    Thanks!

    Hi @sorinciupitu,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

When you say “it keeps the previous login attempts”, would you please tell me a little bit more about what is happening here? Are you wanting to connect to a different Braintree account, or reconnect your site to the same account?

If you’re comfortable changing values in your database, you could also search for the “woocommerce_braintree_credit_card_settings” and “woocommerce_braintree_paypal_settings” keys in your wp_options table and remove those rows. **Please make sure you know how to do this safely, as doing it incorrectly could break your site!**

Would you please let me know how you’d like to proceed?

    Thanks!
