Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I have forwarded you an email with a link back to this support ticket, including the data you had requested.

Unfortunately you didn’t warn me fast enough, and I had already tried manually editing the file from the file manager, which resulted in a broken file, like you had predicted. Returning back to a working product feed after that was not the case, so I had to create a duplicate feed, which generated a new file – and URL – which I subsequently submitted to Google Merchants, and that updated my catalog with duplicate products. The AdTribes debug.log I have forwarded you contains data for that too.

Kindly note that I am still getting reports from my users for the newly created product feed also, that they are still experiencing similar sync problems between WC and GM. The former product feed I have removed from GM, and deactivated in the Manage Feeds page. Please review, and advise further.

I asked around for possible answers, and I discovered that by stopping the user enumeration I was blocking the REST API, hence why I am seeing that slow page report. I am leaving a comment here for future reference in case somebody stumbles upon it on a web search.

Thanks for the feedback. Upon further investigation I noticed that there is a redirection from /cart (without a trailing slash) to /cart/ (with a trailing slash). However I curl’ed with the trailing slash appended to the original command, and there was no significant difference for the better.

I’ve run multiple runs on pagespeed insights and gtmetrix, but the results have always been pretty much the same. I deactivated all the plugins and ran new tests, and the answer to my question lies somewhere in there. As soon as all the plugins but woocommerce were deactivated, the cart would load within a matter of milliseconds.

So thank you for the input, and apologies for all the trouble.

I don’t know how or even if they are related, but I discovered four URLs which were refusing to render. They were throwing a critical error on the front page. After enabling the display errors option in php, we were able to discover the following errors also.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Unfortunately the link you shared yields a Service Unavailable error. However, in the meantime I managed to troubleshoot this and address it on my own. I navigated to the feed file path in the cPanel, and renamed the affected product feed. I then regenerated the file from the Manage Feeds page, and all is well again after that. Please let me know if you would like me to forward you the debug.log anyway for your troubleshooting.

No this is the lazy load effect, and that is the responsive placeholder color. What I mean is this:

Using a tool like GTMetrix or Pagespeed Insights the test finishes before the slider has a chance to render, hence it can be previewed. Opening it on mobile directly you can definitely see it happening, and in slower connections you can also see the same behavior in desktop too.
