OK, so from what I understand, after I tracked the specific email account, and tracked it as ‘not spam’ I won’t be send this particular email in my inbox.

I presume that future emails from this email address, will reach my inbox ok?

If I do that, won’t it start causing me problems again with login lockouts???
I’m not too bothered about the notice if it means that I can easily login and out without hassle.

This seems to be working now ??
I did get a warning from within the Dashboard of the plugin saying..:
‘You have disabled login lockdown by defining the AIOWPS_DISABLE_LOGIN_LOCKDOWN constant value as true, and the login lockdown setting has enabled it. Delete your login lockdown IP from Locked IP Addresses and define the AIOWPS_DISABLE_LOGIN_LOCKDOWN constant value as false./

As I don’t currently have any IP’s that are locked down..should I just ignore the warning?
I was able to log out and log back in again fine!

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately however, it still doesn’t work and I get ‘page cannot be loaded’ error, no matter where I am in the dashboard.

I have also enabled the ‘Login IP Whitelist’ feature, where I’ve placed my IP and IP range, but it seems to be ignoring these??

Thank you for the code, however as there are no such lines in my config file, I placed them under 3 different sections and got website errors after saving.
I placed them under:
Database section – got error
WordPress Core Options – error
Post and Media revisions – error

The only places I didn’t try were the last two sections of
Absolute Path to WP directory
WP vars and included files…

Any ideas please ?

Thank you! The ‘WP All in one Securiy and Firewall’ plugn seems to be messing things up all the time!

So is the plugin blocking the connection due to unusual network activity or due to a change in the ISP internet IP for some reason, please?

Yes, the only difference is that I don’t rename the plugin folder, but the plugin itself!
I used to be able to do it on a plugin level, not anymore though!
I don’t understand why I should deactivate ALL the plugins, just to rename 1?

As mentioned already, the 1st case is now sorted!!
The 2nd case, like I’m also mentioning above, file permissions ARE set to 755. Despite this, it won’t let me rename the plugin so I can log in. It isn’t a case of server cache here, unfortunately!

OK, so it turns out as soon as my hosting excluded the new login URL from varnish, it works!!!
However, for another site, I still have the same problem and the issue is I can’t rename the plugin via FTP so I can log in as per normal.
Why can’t I rename it with permissions set to 775 (isn’t this the right permission setting)?

I can’t even log out…tearing my hair out!!
It’s giving my the usual message of ‘‘Forbidden – You don’t have permissions to access this resource’.

What is going on?

Yes I have!
I can’t even disable the plugin from sftp now either!
This is proving to be one major pain now!
I had to delete the plugin from sftp to be able just to log in!
It’s not giving me permission to change even the name to temporarily disable it like I did other times (permissions set to 775).
I’m one step before permanently deleting this now – which will be a shame since I like the plugin otherwise!!

I tried deactivating all my plugins in my staging site.
Then went to log out so I can try logging back in with your plugin activated and immediately got the same notice.
So I couldn’t even log out, let alone log in!
It can’t be a plugin conflict then.

Please suggest something else.
