The deleting .htaccess I have the talent to do.

I do not know that I have the “Bulletproof Security plugin”. I don’t find it in my list of plugins on the admin page.

At this point in time, I have no idea how to save the Permalink table. Still trying to get thru Tara’s suggestion above.

I do have Wordfence active.

BTW – I kinda inherited support of this site. It was up and running when I came aboard.

I tried again to set it to defaults. It works. I had not cleared cache before.

Don’t know what other bits and pieces I may have broken setting it back. Do I still have security? Dunno.
