I switched to fifteen and back to fourteen…it appears my site is behaving according to the twenty fourteen style and ignoring the changes i had put into the style.css, like the default location for that file has changed.
I will create a child theme…but wanted to get this hacked out quick (its only a few changes I made to the .css)
