I was just angry Nick. It is not the most elegant transition, but I was able to clean up the damage. I never react like this. The one website that had to look good, didn’t. In the old days StudioPress never pulled of something as rude as this, but I should look at it as something good. I love change. The new owners should get the chance to learn as well. And if they don’t, I did. Can’t say I don’t appreciate all the work these fine people do. Can’t blame them for my RTFM problem.

I wish I’d been here before I migrated my network website. What a blood bath. I just send an e-mail to our partners not to migrate. Most of them don’t have a multisite website. I am not sure if I should try out a single site migration. Maybe I’d better first have a look at alternatives.

@franck74 14.0.2 was already installed. I hope the removing suggestion by @kratlusker will help, but I am not that good with databases to remove the _hierarchy table spontaneously. It might be a wp network thing that I have the wp_yoast_indexable_hierarchy table. So I wait for kratlusker to be sure.

Thank you for the link. I hope I will be able to add it back. The link text is very useful to people with a screen reader. I want my work to be accessable to people who are blind as well.

I did what you told me to do. Changed the .htaccess

If I upload the old .htaccess it seems like the xs4all-servers need some time. After five minutes or so the website is available again. (Ofcourse I removed my cash first and also tried another browser.)

I checked my own website’s .htaccess. I thought maybe one of my plugins had taken care of the rewriting, but no. My host is probably a lot better, or let’s say more user friendly. My own website has way heavier, but reacts much quicker. One cannot refuse to help a primary school. But I have learned my lesson.

I will ask the teacher in charge of the website to call the hosting provider to ask to change the settings.
