Well… the only thing that worked for me was the solution that zamster100 gave me. I manually downgraded the WP version and it returned to normal…. still can’t believe that WP hasn’t given a solution to the problem…. I really could not wait any longer… my client kept pressuring me to finish the site… ss i decided to downgrade

well…. it looks that this is one of the unresolved misteries of wordpress… i still have the problem and still i’m waiting for an answer… i still have the hope to get one….

It’s been 4 days and I haven’t got answer to my problem….. I still get the “connection reset” message and also the “www.localhost.com” appears from time to time…. so, i’m guessing that the 4.0 version version update is not a good idea……. i’ll wait a little longer…

the only thing that I can view correctly is the contact page but crearly i have to write the complete url to be able to see it… https://localhost/miwpsyte/contact/

the only thing written in the .htaccess is this:

that’s one of the strange things that happened… now it changes automatically to https://www.localhost.com instead of https://localhost wich is the correct location… i’ve checked the options inside the wordpress and all of them points correctly to https://localhost&#8230; y try to insert the correct url manually into the browser and it changes it back…. also, i’ve cleared my cookies and cache and tried to open it in different browsers and i still get the same response…. ??
