This is a follow-up to your previous request #168863 “Cloudinary WordPress plugin – Deactivation feedback”

I was finding that site speed wasn’t showing images compressed (getting F grade on image compression), and I was having issues with images not loading, or loading blurry images. So I disabled the plugin and selected to remove all settings.

some images would not load at all, some load blurry only, causing conflict with website cdn

after disabling plugin and removing plugin settings, theme is still referencing cloudinary over 7,000 times after

the issue here is that the cloudinary plugin re-wrote image references in at least 4 different ways (not straight text replacement), that will require complex regex pattern matching by a paid web developer to fix

I reached out to cloudinary and they brushed me off saying they don’t support images in widgets, which is basically Divi theme content areas all over the site, these are not really widgets

here are some examples of image references showing patterns that we have found:

we have spent 10hrs on this so far with no fix, so now we will need to hire a web developer at additional $1800 to fix it!

Same, getting 500 server error. Remove CTM plugin and it goes away.

same issue here

I’ve had similar issues on my VPS, been struggling with connection issues for days.

I spoke with Google support, they verified that Chrome Version 34.0.1847.131 has known bugs on all devices (connection issues), update coming.

It isn’t totally solved but I’ve had far better results recently (so far) using Firefox 2.9.

I’m still getting the connection lost notifications, but less frequently.

I wonder if the developer is going to respond, or if I should replace this plugin?

“WP excerpt” would mean the optional excerpt field within the post editor where you can place summary text.

Ideally I’d want to be able to list something kind of like this:

The pagenavi links are there, but on a sub-category listing when clicking on them they don’t produce correct result (always shows 1st page result only, no matter what page of listing you try to navigate to). This seems to only be the case for a sub-category listing.

Nevermind! Sorry, I hadn’t noticed the new settings for user roles after one of the updates.

pagenavi works on this page of posts by News category:
https://irfnews.wordpressmash.com/news

but not on this page of posts by News –> Press Releases sub-category:
https://irfnews.wordpressmash.com/press-releases

I believe the widget settings are nearly identical (with exception of no image in content of the latter)
