Nevermind. I just figured it out. I went into the edit section of the home page. On the right side, you have a widget. I scrolled down to languages and then entered the page I want to be Swedish.

I just followed the steps in this guide https://themes.artbees.net/docs/setting-multilingual-website-polylang-plugin/

I know but unfortunately, that is not the case on my website. I have one front page for all languages.Even though I have created a homepage for the Swedish version. If I change the front page to the Swedish one, it also changes the front page on the English version to Swedish.

For some reason, I can’t have a Swedish front page in Swedish and an English front page in English. It is either one or the other.

Yes, but my problem is that I can’t set a homepage in Swedish without changing the homepage on the English version to the Swedish one as well.

For example, if I go into settings/reading and change the homepage to the page that is intended for the Swedish version then it changes the homepage on the English version as well.

Thank you. I appreciate all the suggestions. Unfortunately none of them have solved my problem. I have tried several different plugins even plugins that give the website a password. I have activated the plugins and tested the website in several different browsers, I tried in private mode on browsers and even on different devices but in all cases the website was neither password protected nor in maintenance mode.

Does anyone know what the problem could be based on the info above?
