Dude! It’s working!
I didn’t know that you were supposed to just open your website up!
I feel so dumb now. I was trying to open it through my ftp, and it kept openining in dreamweaver, hence all the errors and aggravation.

Thank you for your help & tutorials, they were extremely helpful.

I don’t have the databases icon, either for the plesk tutorial.

In the vdeck tutorial — I don’t have a host manager icon.

I’m with Bluehost by the way if that makes any difference. It was one of the recommended ones for WP.

I’m running into the same thing now. I just DL’d php & mysql. There were no further instructions about those things in the readme, so if it’s a prob with that… I wouldn’t have a clue. I’ve put the un & pw for mysql in the right places in the config WP file. But what the heck is this PHP.
My there are def. errors in my install page too. I got the same exact page as the OP here.
I’m banging my head on my desk here. I wish someone could do this for me.
