I already have a support ticket going but I don’t have allot of faith in Godaddys support team which is why I was hoping that someone could give me either a basic or optimized file so I have something to compare with mine.

Justin, I have a very similar problem, I am still fairly new to WP but not html design. I had a few site I was experimenting with and all were working fine until I had to renew my SSL and change my primary domain. I have the unlimited godaddy hosting plan and since the change I get errors as soon as I activate the wp e-commerce plugin! I have even tried installing a totally new WP (and database) with no theme and as soon as I activate the WP e-commerce plugin, other plugins seem okay except for PHPurchase which give the same error. Someone mentioned permission settings? What should they be set at to?
I apologize for this but I have tried starting a new post but have received no replys and your issue is so close to mine!
If you would care to reply off group please do so at design @ siskenimagery dot com
    Thank You very much,
    Ken

    BTW, here is the error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘=’, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/w/a/g/wagonmaster54/html/!stitchin/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-includes/category.functions.php on line 238

I was hoping someone would have been able to give me some idea where to look or where to start but I guess not. Anyway hare is an update on what I have tried:
On one WP e-commerce site it was a plugin (promotion-slider) causing the error so I removed it manually and now I can access the admin dashboard. I thought my troubles were over with that site but upon re-installing the plugin it fails giving a fatal error! After all this I was informed by my client (my daughter) that this plugin is not needed any longer! Yea I know…. after wasting all this time on it!

Not my question is can this be safely removed the proper way and not cause any other errors???
    TIA, Ken

BTW – I’m getting close to dumping all sites and starting from a fresh install but then again I would not learn why it did this for future reference, I am still fairly new to WP and need to learn as much as possible especially troubleshooting!
