This happens because you’ve deactivated the REST-API of course. Since v4.8 cf7 needs access to the REST-API, but I don’t know why. It is a Contact Form.

I’ve contacted the Author several times to fix this, but I’ve got no answer.

Did you deactivate REST-API for anonymous user? Since CF7 4.8 there is a fault in the plug. I have asked several times if there will be any solution to fix that bug, but no support.

New Version 4.8.1 is online but did not resolve the problem. Is there any timeline to “fix that bug”?
