The clicks that are not counted are not events, they are regular posts that open in popup-windows. So this cannot be the reason. Did you check it on my website? It is the links that open for example on the start page if you click on the posts that are displayed with a post grid module on the right hand side. If you hover over posts you see that they have are regular wordpress address (category/post-title).

Sorry I was not available on Tuesday. I think it is very difficult to coordinate. Without having resolved basic problems in the free version I would not touch the pro version, so I guess there is no solution for me using your plugin.
Right now I am working on another solution using another plugin or built-in mega menu with Divi theme.
I am also quite sure that there was no css conflict, having disabled all custom css. Probably it must be a plugin conflict then, but this would be difficult to address and to solve.

Great, thanks for your quick reply. Just got irrated when seeing them all (127 participants!) in the “recipients” field and wanted to be VERY sure when dealing with sensible information.

I have further investigated and none of my plugins interferes with Simple Download Monitor. I have checked with four different WordPress setups and having the issue on ALL of them. They are in different server environments, and themes I am using on these are Divi (with its included PageBuilder), Customizr Pro (with Nimble Page Builder Pro) and Zuki Theme by Elmastudio.

Changing to another download plugin is not an option: Yours is still the best, and I have put tons of work into creating the downloads, placing them nicely on the sites and customizing buttons etc. ??

By the way, another issue is the “dont’t count downloads from bots” option. The bots included in your coding seem to be VERY outdated. Doesn’t matter, I work around it with .htaccess and server side bad bot blocking ??

I can’t disable plugins, it is a live site, and basic site layout is controlled by a page builder plugin, plus smart post show etc for displaying the contents. But I can tell you that there is the same issue on second site with another theme and totally different plugin setup I am developing right now. So it is not specific to one site.

I tried, no change for the two issues.

The second probably not being an issue but a fixed setting of the plugin to show only the first 15 top downloads. This would be more a feature request to have an option to choose the number of downloads showed. Or a hint on how to change it in the plugin files.

But the first issue definitely seems to be a bug.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that would do it, but actuallay, I need also the option to display with featured image, depending on context on client’s website. And as I will need advanced features like displaying by custom taxanomy, possibly isotope filter, I am looking for a “all-in-one” solution to not get things blown up for the client and not needing to buy two premium plugins.
Though, what I like of your plugins is the idea to use the shortcode with its parameters and not create a shortcodes based on the id of grid or list items, resulting in an endless list of items in the backend (when we speak of editions of a magazine, for example) as do most of the plugins.
One solution would be, just to use css (display: none;) for the featured image part; will have to dig into this how this will work out when wanting grids with AND without featured image on the same page, probably section based css will do the trick then. Still not sure if i am willing to go that way ??

They show the same content in outline, only the text of the overview is in the correct language.

Anytime i try to change content in Outline in one language, it will apply to ALL languages.

I think there is a general problem with the customizer, it is very slow after migrating the theme options. My browser sometimes breaks, sometimes not, but it takes at least half a minute to load the customizer. So I guess for some users it won’t work at all.

In my opinion this needs to be fixed by MageeWP, customizer is buggy and the speed not acceptable (while working somehow for me for the moment).
